West Kids & Families
Sowing the seed of the Gospel into young lives and supporting parents in raising their children to be wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ.
At West Kids, we take great delight in the opportunity to show the next generation the self-giving love of Jesus Christ. From ages 0-12, these children are given the opportunity to develop strong relationships with mature, safe, and gifted leaders; to develop life-long friendships with children around their age; and to learn and interact with the whole of God's Word from start to finish!
Through our Kids’ Program, we seek to spark discussion with the children through Sunday lessons and to provide resources that fuel family times of worship and discipleship throughout the week and within the home.
CityReach West is a child-safe church
At West, we value and prioritise your child’s safety, so every member of our kids team has been cleared to work with children through the Department of Human Services, and we will work together to create a child-safe and fun environment.
9am Kids Program

Ages 0-2
A space for children to see and experience church community through music, games, and children's books.

Ages 3-5
The children begin to enter our curriculum Generations of Grace, which moves through the whole of God's Word, pointing to Jesus Christ the whole way.

Reception - Year 2
Our children continue in Generations of Grace and begin asking deeper questions and engaging with the Bible in more hands-on ways.

Years 3- 6
The children are being established in the Word and becoming familiar and confident to open the Bible and beginning to understand it for themselves!
Our Volunteers
All of our amazing volunteers love the Lord, are fully trained in child safety and have received the necessary safety checks to provide the safest environment for your children on Sundays.
The West Kids team also desire to build relationships with and walk alongside parents and families as they seek to raise their children in the fear and instruction of the Lord.
Parents Room
We also have a parent room located in the foyer for those who need to settle their baby during the service. The parents’ room includes a change table, feeding chairs and soft playmats, plus a video-feed of the service.
