Forgiveness
Forgiveness is a gracious gift. Yet, it is often misunderstood, can feel incredibly hard to extend, and sometimes even hard to receive. I wonder if you can relate to having doubts or questions like;
“If I forgive them, they’ll get away with it.”
“They haven’t said sorry, they aren’t sorry.”
“I can’t because I don’t feel like I mean it.”
“I don’t’ see them, so it is fine, time heals.”
“You don’t know what I did, what they did.”
When we are feeling stuck, doubting the power of forgiveness, or trying to move past the hurt we need help! This is what the following resources help us with as they lift us out of a self-centric or superficial view of forgiveness, to refresh us in God’s forgiveness that truly heals, restores, and testifies to God’s character.
