Anxiety
Anxieties are common to humanity. We all navigate worries, stressors, fears, sufferings, illnesses and other factors that rise to anxieties of varying complexities. Whether it is to help you navigate every day or persistent anxieties or to help you better understand and support others - here are some resources we encourage you to check out.
For everyone: “A Biblical View on Anxiety” by Ed Welch (YouTube)
In a time of overwhelming anxiety, perhaps you tried reciting a verse, were told a verse to trust, or even prayed a verse – yet it ‘didn’t work’. If you have doubted whether God’s words really do help in your time of need, Ed Welch humbly empathises with you. Welch gently calls us towards learning to linger and rest in Him who it reveals. Have a listen, and we pray it may help fill and anchor our conversations with God’s love and truth whether at home, work, in small groups, or even around the coffee cart on Sunday!
